How to use the checkout calculator

  1. Enter your remaining score

Type the score you have left, anywhere from 2 to 170. The result updates instantly as you type.

  2. Set the darts in hand

Choose how many darts you have left this visit — 1, 2 or 3. The calculator only suggests routes that fit.

  3. Keep double-out on

Leave the double-out toggle on for standard X01 rules, where your final dart must land in a double or the bull. Turn it off for any-finish formats.

  4. Throw the recommended route

Aim for the highlighted route. If you miss, re-enter your new score for the next best finish from where you are.

Calculator questions, answered

Is the darts checkout calculator free?
Yes — the checkout calculator is completely free to use here, with no sign-up. The Oche app adds the same suggestions live as you score a game on iOS and Android.
What scores can I check out?
Any score from 2 to 170 can be finished with three darts — except the seven bogey numbers (169, 168, 166, 165, 163, 162 and 159), which have no three-dart double-out finish.
What does the double-out toggle do?
With double-out on (the standard X01 rule) the final dart must land in a double or the bullseye. Turn it off for formats that allow finishing on any segment, and the routes update accordingly.
Does the calculator work offline?
Yes. All the checkout logic runs in your browser, so it keeps working without a connection — and the Oche app works fully offline too.
